A Day In The Life
Things to ponder: The Washington Nationals SUCK, and there's still five more months until football season. Sigh.
This week begins a brief reprieve from what has been a very chaotic semester. The first institute session of the semester is over, so for about ten days I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn for my 7:00 am class. It will be a fairly easy week. I'm reviewing the material for next week's mid-term exams and have managed to finagle a couple of extra days off in the process. Most of my students are taking mid-terms for their other classes this week, so they jumped at the chance to take some extra time off.
The weather gods have finally decided to let spring stick around for a bit although it's still a little nippy in the mornings. Given how weird the weather has been so far this year, I wouldn't be surprised to wake up tomorrow and either find snow on the ground or that it's suddenly 50 C with 99% humidity.
Anyway, other than the fact that I've been working my ass off, there really isn't too much new news to tell, so I'll leave this post as is before I start spewing even more mudane drivel than I already have.
